Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating. This can occur under the arms, on the hands and feet and across the back and forehead. For many it can be a debilitating and highly
embarrassing condition. It can occur at any age but typically starts during adolescence and may continue through-out adulthood. Superficial doses of the drug frequently used for wrinkle injections can be used to reduce the amount of sweating. Treatment typically lasts about 4 months but for some can last up to a year.
