Hyperhidrosis - Excessive sweating

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating. This can occur under the arms, on the hands and feet and across the back and forehead. For many it can be a debilitating and highly embarrassing condition. It can occur at any age but typically starts during adolescence and may continue through-out adulthood. Superficial doses of the drug frequently used for wrinkle injections can be used to reduce the amount of sweating. Treatment typically lasts about 4 months but for some can last up to a year.
